Payment is due in full at the time of your order. If for some reason you choose to cancel your special/custom order you will receive 50% of your payment back. The other half is kept to cover material and time lost.

If you are requesting a custom order of an item that is currently available in the shop, there will be a 20% up charge in the price. For example if you want an exact replica of an item such as a 9 inch bowl in black walnut and this item is currently available the 20% up charge will apply. Any questions please message me.

Custom orders typically take 1-2 weeks to complete depending on the item. Time frame can change during peak holiday seasons. Progress photos, and final verification will be provided before item ships.

Most of our items are finished with walnut oil and beeswax. For spoons and bowls as you use them they will start to dry out as the oil is pulled away from them with use and heat. To refinish simply re-oil with walnut oil or food safe mineral oil. We prefer walnut oil because it is 100% natural and edible out of the bottle.

***I use walnut oil on the majority of my items. It is heat treated to remove the proteins that may cause an allergic reaction. But I am not a doctor, if an allergy is a concern please consult your physician before purchasing***

Caring for your wooden wares: wash with warm soapy water, rinse and towel dry immediately. Don't leave items submerged in water, never put in the dishwasher or microwave.

Due to the unique quality of my items I do not offer wholesale pricing. If you are looking to order a large quantity of items please contact me and I may be able to workout special pricing on a large order.

Gift wrapping is currently not available but if your item is a gift being shipped directly to the recipient please mark as a gift and a gift receipt will be included. I use reclaimed and salvaged lumber as much as possible in my work. As a result the type of wood I have on hand is ever changing. When it comes to special orders I may not have a certain type of wood on hand that you see in a current listing. I can acquire many types of timber but not all types of wood are readily available and not in all sizes (especially large bowl sizes). If you are looking for a piece to be custom made. Please contact me to inquire on what is available for the particular item you have in mind.

Due to the nature of our items we do not accept returns or exchanges. We appreciate your understanding. As always if there is an issue with your shipment, contact us and we will make it right.
